From Opening
Again
These are the
moments
Of my greatest opening
I open like a vowel
Like a hand
Like the toothless yawn
Of a sleepy infant
I open like the
arms of a mother
Reunited with her lost child
Open like a yellow daffodil
Unleashed by spring
I open like the face
Of one who has just engaged
In a surprisingly true
Wholly unexpected
